Welcome to our site: Classical Languages at Moses Brown.
		Don't be frightened of our mascot; he is a mosaic who guards the door of the site, as he guarded the entrance of his house in Pompeii over 2,000 years ago.  While he says "CAVE CANEM", he is harmless.

Moses Brown offers a rich variety of courses in the Classics, beginning with the middle school and continuing through 2 Advanced Placement courses in the upper school.
The program is coordinated so that students who had taken at least 2 years of Latin in the middle school come into either Latin 2 or 3 in the Upper School.  Students who used different texts and join us later have no difficulty adjusting to the ones we use.
