This course follows the Advanced Placement curriculum, which is quite lengthy and complex.  In addition to reading and commenting on over 1800 lines of poetry, students occasionally teach the class, write 2 term papers and are responsible for all the grammatical and poetical forms.
While it is a difficult course, the beauty of Vergil's poetry and the elegance of his style make it all worth while.
