Alaska is know as The Last Frontier. Many of the books about the state are about the men and women of the state and their relationship with the animals found there. Today, men, women, and their teams of dogs still work together, only now it is for the glory of sport. The Iditarod Sled Dog Race tests the strength and wills of its participants. Your project is to click on the Iditarod site below and learn more about the race. To complete your project you need to draw a map of Alaska, including the route of the race.
