Student File Server Login

You must use Internet Explorer 6 on Windows computers -or- IE, Opera, or Safari on Macs. 

To Login with IE or Opera from a PC:

• Enter your UserName & Password
• Click OK
• DO NOT check "Remember password" on school computers

To Login with Safari from a Mac:

• Insert the phrase 'mosesbrown\' before your username.
• Click 'Login'.
• DO NOT check "Remember password" on school computers

See the following example:

To Login with Internet Explorer from a Mac, there are two steps to the login process.

Step 1. When you have the login window, type in your username and password where indicated. For the entry labeled 'Domain' insert 'mosesbrown'. Click 'OK'

Step 2. A second window appears. Type in your username and password again. Click 'OK'

In order to view the entire screen, maximize your browser window by pressing the maximize button on browser window. 

Also, you need to be viewing the screen at a resolution of 1024x768 to see the Menu Bar

The web site is divided into four sections:

1. Menu Bar across the Top
2. Stored File List on the left
3. File Upload section on the right
4. Properties/Status section on the right

Menu Bar:

FOLDERS>> Click to see other folders that you have access to.

Click the green arrow to go the folder named in the text box
	Move up one level		Create a new folder		Create a new file
	Rename a file/folder		Copy		Paste
	Cut		Delete		Undo
	Create new zip file		Add to zip file		View contents of zip
	Show properties		Search		Refresh View
Log Off  (Note: You must close browser window to completely end session)

File Upload section:

• Click Browse… to select file to upload.
  • You can only add one file per Browse… button
• Click Upload to place files on server
  • You will see the status section list the Uploading results of which files were uploaded successfully.

Stored File List:

• Displays folders and files stored on server.
• Click underlined folders to view contents

Download Files:

• To download a file, right-click on the file and choose download

Properties:

• Displays the details of the selected file or folder
