Ms. Yamil Báez
El  Alhambra, Granada I was born in Manhattan, New York to Dominican immigrants so I am proud to be a United States citizen as well as a dominicana de corazón.  I have spent most of my life in Rhode Island, which has the proud distinction of being the "Biggest Little State in the Union."  I received a BA in both Italian and Spanish from the University of Rhode Island,Department of Modern & Classical Languages & Literatures.  I also received a MA in Spanish there.  I have been at Moses Brown School since 1997.  I teach Spanish and Italian.

Currently, I sit on the board of the Rhode Island chapter as Past-President of American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. Visit our chapter's website: RIAATSP.
